People who add you to pointless Facebook groups and events.
Ever since Facebook remodeled how groups work, there has been the problem of adding people to groups. With the changes, anyone could add you to any group regardless of your permission. Considering how people already could not understand the difference between a page and a group, this led to countless groups about stupid topics such as someone's 'photography'. Another thing that bugs me: Facebook events. Creating an event for losing your phone and needing numbers is not ok. My response to this used to be "www.facebook.com/phonebook", but for some stupid reason, they deleted the phone book feature. Worst mistake of all time, considering how now you actually need to ask every single person if you want their number. But an event is not the way to do it. Also, apparently 'Maybe' is the new polite 'No'.

Most automated phone systems.
Everybody has had to call tech support on one occasion or another. So most people are aware of the modern 'convenience' that is automated phone systems. But it would be rude for me to clump them all into one category. There are the touch tone systems which rely on you pressing certain buttons to navigate through endless menus, and there are voice-activated systems. The touch tone systems often have a female voice list off options, followed by the number to select them. By the time she's done saying the options, you're bound to forget which option you wanted to choose. The voice-activated systems can be just as confusing though. The worst sometimes go like this:
System: "Thank you for calling technical support! You can use short phrases such as 'I need help sending a text message', to answer the following question. What are you calling about today?"
Me: "My phone needs to be activated."
System: "So you need help with My Verizon?"
Me: "No."
System: "What are you calling about today?"
Me: *Click*.
Pro tip: A lot of systems actually do have the ability to transfer you directly to a human if you press 0.

Text Message tones that are too long.
Ever been in say a Chipotle, or some other public place, and heard someone's loud ringtone? Sure, we can all have fun ringtones that express our personality or our favorite music. But what really bugs me is when you take that 30 second ringtone, and apply it as your text message tone. That way, every 45 seconds we get to watch you slowly take the phone out of your pocket, hold it in your hand to see who the message is from, and then read it. Tip for the guilty parties: once you know you are in a conversation with someone that will last at least a few minutes, put your phone on vibrate as a courtesy to others. Thank you.
